Hip Hip Hooray, We’re On Our Way!

January 19, 2011

Who knows when, where, why, or how? Today’s blog post starts right now!

Hi from McPopper Children’s Hospital in Kite Tree, California! It’s me, Lily, and welcome to the Hospital Critterz Blog! I have so many exciting things to tell you. I’m happy to say that today is the official release of “Hospital Critterz: The Prairie Pet!” It’s the first book in the “Hospital Critterz” adventure series where we go on magical journeys back in time with my friend Max, and, of course, the Hospital Critterz! You should check it out. We’d love to hear what you think!

In “Hospital Critterz: The Prairie Pet,” we travel to the prairie in the 1800’s where we help out a boy named Caleb. He has a very unusual (and totally cool!) pet named Tiny. Do you have a pet? What’s its name? I have a cat named Izzy.

It’s fun to try new things, like learning a new magic trick, drawing a new picture, or reading a new book! Did you try something new today? Today is my first time blogging. Fishy Kitty helped with all of the computer stuff. Have you met him yet? He’s the technology whiz of the Hospital Critterz. And what a fun group they are! Kwon Do, Beary Bruised, Cherry-Ot, Miss Soy, Jella, Dr. Duck Ling, Ditto, Ping & Pong, Day Z Girl, Mr. Pan-D, and Fishy Kitty have changed everything around here. And I mean everything! I had no idea that when my nurse Samantha gave me Mr. McPopper’s markers, I’d be getting so much more than that….

Well, that’s all for now, but we’ll be back! Have a Critterrific day!

Oh, one more thing! Here’s a joke from Dr. Duck Ling:

What do you call a log with a bee on it? A blog!

    Hello Hospital Critterz,

Thank you so much for giving us the almost first copy of your amazing book. The critterz are so colorful and so cute! Cherry-Ot is adorable; Dr. Duck-Ling is clever; and the whole concept of the story is so sweet!!!

    Love,
    The Room 40 Critterz
