Happy Birthday, America!

Hey, what’s up? It’s Max at the computer today, and I just finished breakfast. Did you have a good breakfast? What did you have? Miss Soy said that breakfast is the most important meal because it gives you the energy you need to start your day. I agree!

And speaking of taking on the day, there’s a very special day coming up next week. Monday is the Fourth of July! And that’s when we celebrate Independence Day in the United States. On July 4, 1776, we declared our independence from England with…can you guess it? The Declaration of Independence! The Fourth of July is always a fun holiday because there are picnics and barbeques, big parades, and awesome fireworks shows. Here at McPopper Children’s Hospital, Lily and I are making our own American flags to hang in the playroom. Are you doing something fun for the Fourth of July? Tell us!

So bring out your red, white, and blue outfits and wave those American flags up high. It’s time to party!

Bye for now!
