Recycling on the Upswing

Hey, what’s up? It’s Max at the computer. How’s it going? Today’s post is dedicated to Ping & Pong because yesterday was “America Recycles Day,” which is a day that’s focused on recycling and making the world a cleaner place. “America Recycles Day” reminds all of us across the U.S. about the importance of recycling, and you can learn more about “America Recycles Day” here. What’s great about recycling is that it’s not only good for the environment, but it’s also good for the community because it brings people together for a great cause. It’s all about working together for the common goal of keeping the Earth in tip-top shape!

Another important part of “America Recycles Day” is that we can learn about different kinds of recycling that we may not know about. For example, many people know that they can recycle soda cans and glass bottles, but did you know that you can recycle paints, concrete, furniture, and even hair dye? You can recycle all types of things, whether it’s batteries, electronics, or household objects. A big part of “America Recycles Day” is about opening our eyes to all sorts of recycling options and opportunities that are in our neighborhoods. (A list of recycling plants in your area can be found here.) And speaking of opening our eyes, you can even recycle eye glasses! What a great way to really see the changes that recycling can bring!

Bye for now!
