A Super Game!

February 8, 2012

Hey, what’s up? It’s me, Max, and I wanted to say hi to all of our readers. Did you have a good weekend? A lot of us at the hospital watched the Super Bowl on Sunday (it was Super Bowl XLVI which is number 46 to be exact), and it was a really cool game. The New York Giants played the New England Patriots, and even though the Giants were considered the underdog, they ended up winning! The Giants were behind toward the end of the game, but they pulled out ahead and beat the Patriots 21 to 17. It was an exciting game the whole way through. Before the game, some sports commentators were talking about Eli Manning, the quarterback of the Giants, and they were wondering if he could compete with a star quarterback like Tom Brady, who’s the quarterback of the Patriots. I think Manning definitely proved himself. He really rocked! It’s no wonder why he won the MVP of the Super Bowl.

And speaking of rocking, Jella’s favorite parts of the Super Bowl had to do with rock stars. First, pop singer Kelly Clarkson sang the National Anthem, and she was really good. Then Madonna performed during the halftime show, and all of the Hospital Critterz were dancing to her music.

The other part of the Super Bowl that a lot of people talk about is the commercials. The Super Bowl is said to have the funniest and most clever commercials, and I think my favorite commercial was the one that showed a dog race. There was a dog wearing sneakers who won the race even though he looked like the slowest dog. He even did the moonwalk before he crossed the finish line! That was pretty funny.

All in all, it was definitely a fun Sunday. I wonder who’s going to play in next year’s Super Bowl? We’ll have to wait and see. Bye for now!
