July Joy

Hi from McPopper Children’s Hospital! It’s Lily at the computer, and I hope you’re having an awesome day! I’m super excited that tomorrow is the Fourth of July! We’ve been celebrating the holiday all week long, and everything around here is decorated with red, white, and blue stars, banners, and a lot American flags. Samantha has been wearing red, white, and blue scrubs, and Dr. Ling has really cool patriotic ties. But what I like the most about the Fourth of July is watching the fireworks with my parents and friends. Sometimes I can see the Kite Tree fireworks show right here from my hospital window. Other times we all gather in the playroom and watch the fireworks shows that are on TV. (It’s important to remember that only adults should go near fireworks…not kids or Critterz!)

Are you doing anything fun for the Fourth of July? Be sure to let us know! Remember that this holiday is a great time to visit your friends who may be in the hospital (like me and Max). We love having visitors, and on a day of celebration, it’s the best feeling to spend it with friends!

So Happy Fourth of July, readers! We hope you have a critterrific holiday!
