Courtesy Counts!

Hi from McPopper Children’s Hospital! It’s Lily at the computer, and thanks for checking out our blog! How’s your September going? Today I learned that September is National Courtesy Month! Do you know what the word courtesy means? The Hospital Critterz told me that courtesy means having good manners and being polite. And now that we know it’s the theme of the month, it’s an even greater reminder for all of us to go out of our way to be kind, generous, and gracious to each other. So that means doing good for others whenever we can, lending an ear or a helping hand, and basically treating others the way that we want to be treated ourselves. Let’s be the all-around great people (and Critterz) that we truly are! Treating others with love and kindness will make them feel great, and it will make you feel great, too. Now’s the time!

What respectful and kind things are you going to do this month? Be sure to let us know! And don’t forget, have a critterrific courtesy-filled day!
