Novels in November

November 5, 2014

Hi from McPopper Children’s Hospital! It’s Lily at the computer, and I hope you had an awesome Halloween. We had a fun time celebrating here at the hospital, and we just took down the decorations today. And while we have to wait a whole year before Halloween comes again, the cool thing is that November is a month with a celebration that you may not know about…until now! So what makes November a month to remember? It’s National Novel Writing Month! What are you going to write about? I think I’m going to write a novel about a girl who can see into the future. Or maybe I’ll write about a whole city of dogs who have to protect themselves against scary cats. But the cats are really afraid of these super powerful mice. Then the dogs and cats have to join up and fight against them. Or maybe I can combine the stories somehow? That’d be awesome.

Be sure to tell us all the details about your novel. We can’t wait to hear your ideas. And don’t forget…have a critterrific month of writing!
