Constitution Day Facts

Hey, what’s up? It’s me, Max, and I hope you’re having a great week. Tomorrow is Constitution Day, and it’s a day that commemorates when the United States Constitution was signed on September 17, 1787. That was 228 years ago! Wow! While fifty-five delegates went to the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, only thirty-nine men including Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, and Alexander Hamilton signed the constitution, and it became the foundation of what our country stands for. Cherry Ot told me that of America’s founding fathers, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams didn’t sign the constitution because they were representing America in other countries. Thomas Jefferson was in France, and John Adams was in Britain. Wow again!

We hope you have a great Constitution Day!

Bye for now!
