Hi from McPopper Children’s Hospital! It’s Lily at the computer, and I hope you’re having a wonderful Wednesday. I learned that September is National Courtesy Month, and it’s a great reminder for all of us to be extra polite, kind, and considerate. That’s how we should act all the time, but this month’s theme can help remind all of us about how important it is to be courteous and respectful. The Golden Rule says that we should treat others the way that we want to be treated, and that really rings home this month. There’s also an expression that goes, “You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar,” and it means that being kind and courteous will get you much farther in life. Bring on the flies!

We hope you have a critterrific and courtesy-filled month!
