April Shower Power

Hey, what’s up? It’s me, Max, and I hope your April is off to an awesome start! There’s a famous saying that goes, “April showers bring May flowers,” so Lily, the Hospital Critterz, and I came up with some fun ideas of things to do when it’s raining. I like doing puzzles, playing board and computer games, and reading books when it’s just too wet to go outside. (I really love reading my favorite book, Hospital Critterz: The Prairie Pet by Stacey Laura Lloyd.) Lily’s favorite indoor activity is coloring (usually with Mr. McPopper’s markers), and she also enjoys cutting out construction paper in shapes like hearts, stars, and diamonds and decorating her room. The Hospital Critterz love trying new things when it’s raining outside. Whether it’s memorizing new vocabulary words, practicing phrases in a foreign language, or learning how to yoyo or juggle, there’s always something fun to do even when it’s pouring!
